All Hallows Eve, Wissahickon.

Happy spirit pumpkin on the porch.

Butterfly in the kitchen, hoping for trick-or-treaters...

The spoils from All Hallow's Eve singing.

A little light reading.

The weekend before All Hallows Eve.

Went to a karaoke party on Saturday, after school open house duties. People dressed up (at the party). So many people are closet stars. Some good performers out there in the wild. I met a few witches, Elton John, some hip-hopsters, Sonny and Cher, and some other ghouls. It was convivial.

Planning on watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" tomorrow, like before-times.

Where are we, in the universe. Feeling Here and There. Or neither. Unstable ground upon which we place our feet to stand. Ten years ago it was 2007. Ten months from now is uncertain.

Our wild man and his cohort quit. Too much juggling dilutes the fruit punch, or something like that. We're playing with a new skins man on Friday. Having a drummer is important if you want to feel like you're in a real band.

Didn't realize playing in a rock band was going to be old-fashioned at some point. To everything its season. It doesn't matter, at least not insofar as wanting to do it. Don't know about the possible audience.

Today. Added some harmonies. Tweaked some timing. Graded some projects.

Tomorrow. Into town. Looking at projects. Trying to stir up a little learning. Then outta town. Buddha waits. Patiently. Life so short. But I guess that just means we have some idea of what "Long" is...

Music on a Saturday.

So we had fun at the playground today. Not terribly polished, but out there doing it. A step on the path to making Dreaming Thomas a name to invoke in casual coffeeshop conversation between hipsters: "Oh yeah, DT, I've heard of those guys - they definitely don't suck!". The stuff of dreams.

And then in the evening, more music with friends, at the Headhouse.

A good day, a late day, ending in the wee hours after hanging out afterwards and then winding down before waking up to Sunday's feeling of impending weekday doom.

Sunny Friday.

Sunny day out there, perfectly free Friday. Enjoying the happy calm of my studio companion.

Chinatown fĂȘte.

I daresay we quite enjoyed ourselves at the Chinatown Night Market Festival this past Thursday. Sorry about the eardrums, everybody. The sound system was a beast that attempted to overwhelm us with sheer volume.

Chinatown Dreaming.

Scoping out the Chinatown Gate for Dreaming Thomas's gig on Thursday, 8:15pm. We're sharing the stage with K-pop dance teams, asian comedians, a UPenn a cappella group, Ronnie DJ, and others.

So. Much. Grading.

There must be a better way....

Some welcome rain this morning, after a couple of weeks of no rain. Feels like October. Charlie Brown's getting ready to put too many holes in his ghost costume. Wonder if knows he's just going to get rocks again when he goes out for trick or treat...

I Can See Clearly Now

Great song.

Cheese-y interview.
