A day off from class, exploring a little past Center City: the genteel charms of Chestnut Hill (used cd and record store, the Starbucks, grocery co-op, market courtyard sandwich shop, toy store, 10,000 Villages), and then on for a 2-hour hike through the Wissahickon, still half-covered in snow.
